The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A beautiful girl was walking along a shore contemplating her solitary life. When the gentle waves recede with the tide a bit of gold catches her eye and she realizes she has found a gold cross lying in the sand near the shoreline.
I painted this while visiting Seaside Florida over the Christmas holiday and we had some rainy days.
