I laid the candy bar on the coffee table in the family room and went into the bedroom to get changed into lounging pj's and came out about 10 minutes later. As I walked into the family room I noticed him in my seat and there he was propped up in the corner of the couch looking very proud of himself with the empty wrapper in his mouth almost teasing me about the fact that he had eaten all of the Butterfinger candy bar. Chocolate bits in his beard and a smear of the remnants of chocolate smeared on the light wood floor beside the coffee table .
I always kept my camera on the kitchen island close by because the two furry kids that lived in my house were always up antics that were cute photo opps so I grabbed the camera and got this shot. I always wanted to paint it and finally did.
Bo Bo died this past June 14, Friday of a huge malignant tumor in his stomach. (I swear the x-ray resembled a candy bar!) He is terribly missed because he was so well loved but his pain was t...

Beautiful and humorous artistic tribute to Bo Bo, Susan! This reminded me of my 'grand dog', Willow. A Shitzhu who loved chocolate, too, but she got very sick the three times she finally caught someone leaving it lying down where she could get it. The last time she had to go to the Veterinary Hosp. Some dogs can eat chocolate without the ill effects..but she was not so lucky. Anyway...the last time..we found out she'd been upstairs in my daughter and son-in-law's bedroom and had gotten up on the bed and got into a partially opened bedside table drawer and got out a king-sized Nestlé's Crunch and wolfed it down, apparently, then found another Snickers and decided to bring it downstairs. We watched her come sneaking down...with it in her mouth. If she'd just came down normally we might not even have noticed her, but she was really skulking....lol. Then she began getting sick and it got worse and they had to take her in and leave her overnight. Thank goodness she survived it. She also passed away early last year of kidney failure. Very sad, as she was a sweet little grand dog. We have 7 between both of our children. ;0)) Voted and Faved!!

Thanks Julie for the vote, fav and great comment on "Thief" and for the story about your grand dog Willow, I was very surprised when Bo Bo didn't get sick. maybe because there is more p-nut butter than chocolate in the Butterfinger. Good to hear from you. I just love my print of the open window, it is truly Beautiful. Sorry to hear of Willows passing. it's a sad loss.

Adorable. Reminds me of the pet shaming site. Great "what, who me?" expression on his face. Our dog likes to drink my husbands coffee when he puts it down.
